Lemuria is an interesting city which lies below the eastern ocean due
south of Vice Island and somewhere northeast of Moonglow.  A buoy marks
its location on the surface of the water.  The most notable aspect of
Lemuria is the dome under which it exists.  Spells are a definite no-no
around this dome, which will warp and bend your attempted magics into
possibly disastrous effects.  The town's guilds are quite nice, though
they serve only those who gravitate toward the dark side, and offer a
variety of useful spells and skills (particularly - water breathe).
Also notable in Lemuria is its wonderful zoo, which has some fine
specimens of critters from around the realm, and the Tower of Lemuria,
where you can find Master Brady, who is a bit snotty and not at all
helpful.  Well - enjoy your visit, and don't forget to cast 'water
breathe' on yourself unless you walk very speedily.
