Midgaard

The city of Midgaard is the capital of the Old World and was formerly the capital of the Realm of Magic. Built on the Old River, Midgaard is the location of five guild houses, a post office, a massive library, the Winchester Mansion, a magnificent park and the famous Grunting Boar Inn, where many an adventurer sets off on his quest. Various shops may be found along Main Street and Uncle Juan's Eatery, arguably the best Mexican food restaurant outside of Omelos, is near the city harbour. The order Mimicry and Deception is right outside of the western gate.

In the year 483, the contractors constructed a new northern gate for the city, shifting the city temple and stone ring to the east. The purpose of this was to open up the Midgaard Countryside, which was previously private property only accessible to King Welmar.
