Adventure #

Slay monsters, cast spells, mix alchemy potions or just rely on your wits and skills. Go on over 50 scripted quests, accept randomly generated assignments, take part in one of the many online quests directed by immortals and mortals alike, or face the automated mayhem of vikings attacking a coastal town.

Community #

Recover from your adventures in the crowded harbour town of Moonglow, share your stories about mythical monsters and hidden cities, and trade rumours about werewolves and vampires. Socialise in the famous orders and take on responsibility as a venerable judge or even a lord of the realm. To encourage roleplay, you can give your character a detailed description, extra details and clothing, and use an extended emote command.

Easy to play #

  • The web client shows a map that draws itself as you explore, and commands in the game text are clickable.
  • With telnet or your own MUD client, aliases, speedwalking and MXP links make playing comfortable.
  • Blind or visually impaired players using a screen reader should connect to port 4002, which greatly reduces the amount of text sent. Port 4001 sends no colour.
